By faith, we
believe in one God, who exists in three persons: God the Father,
Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe that God sent His
unique Son, Jesus Christ, to the world to save humanity. The death
of Jesus paid the penalty for our sin, His resurrection gives us
eternal hope, and we live in the expectation of His return. As such
we confess Jesus to be the Christ, the Son of the Living God, and we
accept Him as Lord and Savior. These beliefs we find in the Holy
Bible, God’s authoritative Word, by which we seek to live.
About this Statement
In August 2009, our Elders came together to craft
a new Statement of Beliefs. Our goal was to put something in writing
that would be concise, understandable, and give someone a nutshell
glimpse into what we as a Church believe. We chose to focus on basic
core beliefs, with the understanding that a particular statement or
doctrine’s absence did not necessarily mean rejection of that
belief. If you have any questions, or would like to know more,
please contact us—we’d love to hear from you!
